Mr Matthew I Trotter is a Consultant Ear,Nose and Throat Surgeon. I had been treated for the infection I had in my Right ear and problem with my throat as well. As soon as I was seen by him on my first consultation meeting , He treated my ear and by the end of my meeting I felt 90% better. Mr. Trotter is a great listener,caring and passionate about his work.He explained everything about the treatment he applied. I am 72 year old Asian woman, who hates going to hospitals and get really nervous. Mr. Trotter is very good listener. I would strongly Recommend him. He's very professional and caring human being. God Bless him Always

Excellent service by Dr. Matthew Trotter from start to finish. From the first appointment with Dr. Trotter I felt at ease and in good hands. He understood my symptoms and the difficulties I was facing (the GP hadn't even deemed fit to see me face to face!) he explained the problem simply, prescribed treatment and set about verifying the diagnosis with testing. When surgery became an option, I was supported to continue a conservative treatment approach before reluctantly agreeing that surgery was needed, but I wasn't pushed into it. The surgery, and side effects, were explained clearly on multiple occasions, including the morning of the surgery and then Dr. Trotter visited me twice after surgery (to see how I was and to make sure I had remembered what I had been told the first time, whilst recovering from the anaesthetic). I had 2 follow-up appointments post-op before discharge. I fully recommend Dr. Trotter's services.

Saw Matthew regarding my sinuses and balance issues. He gave me a Presription to give to my GP so I could get my medication from the NHS. He explained my balance issues stems from my bilateral total knee replacement I had in October 2020, as my brain was no longer receiving messages from my new knees, and has advised me to exercise and walk at least 2 miles a day as well do balance exercises. I found Matthew extremely reassuring and was very pleased with the care I received from him. Please pass on my many thanks and would recommend to other patients.
